We are excited to be rolling out the building blocks for a new era of growth. These changes are part of our five-year strategic plan approved by the NZ Firefighters Welfare Society Board to guide the future growth and development of the Society.
Our Refreshed Look
As the Society embarks upon our new phase, we are introducing refreshed and updated marketing and branding.
We have developed a new look website which will make navigating our information easier. Our goal was to make a more enjoyable experience for our members and non-members to gain information about the Welfare Society.
You will notice our logo has changed – A lot of thought was given to modernising our brand while keeping a link to the past. The result is an updated representation of the flames in the logo. This refresh has been a delicate balancing act of paying homage to our roots, whilst making our brand look exciting and fresh for potential new members. The larger our membership base the more resources we have at our disposal to help all our members and their families.
Increasing our Appeal to a Wider Audience
For the NZ Firefighters Welfare Society to continue to prosper, we must appeal to new members and be relatable to a younger demographic.
While our look has changed, we continue to embrace the same ethos since our inception in 1987, “Firefighters helping firefighters and their families”. Our core services remain the same and we will continue to look after you and your family for a small weekly contribution.
We are proud of our new marketing and hope you will be too. We believe it is a significant step in modernising the image of our Society and broadening its appeal to new members. We appreciate the continued support of all our members as we update all our marketing material to reflect these exciting new changes.
Here when you need us
Your membership covers yourself, partner and dependent children until they reach 19. We are here when you need us, whether it is help with financial support that our many benefits offer, or to keep in touch with you when life throws you a curve ball. We are only ever a phone call away. We support all groups of FENZ, including Career & Volunteer Firefighters, Operational Support and Administration staff. Not a bad investment for the small weekly contribution cost.
We rely on members to let us know when help is needed, either for yourself or for a colleague, so do please reach out to us and encourage your colleagues to join. Together we are a strong Society.
