Secretary Needed

This is a great opportunity for a retired person to support our organisation.

If you are looking for the chance to support an organisation that cares, we would be keen to hear from you. You don’t have to be a current member to apply.

This is a Governance role as well as an administration role. It is a part-time position but the hours will vary and they are flexible.

Duties include:
  • Prepare and maintain full and correct records of all meetings of the Society including Healthcare99.
  • Give proper notice of meetings.
  • Distribute agendas and minutes of meetings.
  • Send notifications of upcoming meetings and ensure that all documentation is available for review.
  • Arrange accommodation and flights for meetings as required.
  • Prepare documentation as required, such as annual returns.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Friendly Society and Credit Unions Act.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Welfare Society and Healthcare99 rules.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Board Policy and Procedures.
  • Live in the Wellington region.
  • Available to attend meetings.
  • Computer literate.
  • Hours as required.
